Today was a mixed bag, more bad than good I would say. I ate well for the most part, I had some ice cream and some chocolate, but other than that I behaved myself. I didn’t walk nearly enough today, I had an extra long walk in the morning but that was pretty much it. From my experience today I think I should go ahead and commit fully to working out every day. Skipping cardio days seems to create a snowball effect that effects my eating, and from previous experiences, the rest of my workout days. For tomorrow, I’m planning to go workout in the morning like I’m supposed to. I’m not going to be walking to work, so I’ll definitely be taking a walk during lunch. I will be eating a steak sandwich tomorrow and will probably supplement that with a small salad that I pick up from somewhere.
Today I looked at the Fifth River martial arts place’s website, I think this place might be interesting, I think I will email Bassam’s friend and talk to him sometime. If I end up signing up for that, it looks like they have 1 hour classes every Monday and Wednesday, which hopefully will fill my cardio requirement for those days, so I’ll probably end up doing some rescheduling in terms of my workout schedule.
I’m very optimistic about tomorrow and I think it will go very well.

Plan: To
accomplish the goal of fully adopting these habits the plan is to start every
work day with a review of these habits and attitudes and then spend time
thinking about what needs to be done in that day so that I will embody these
habits and attitudes in my work. At the
end of each work day I will review my success and how I did.

Description: The aim of this project is to adopt the habits of exercise, healthy
eating and having an active lifestyle.
This will lead to losing weight, having a healthier body, and being able
to engage in more physical activity.
Plan: The
plan will involve adopting a series of daily activities:
- Start every day by:
- Exercising for 45 minutes
- Pack a lunch and snacks for the day
- Eat a healthy breakfast
- Walk to and from work whenever possible and
take daily lunch walks
- Cook my own meals as frequently as I can
- Find a regular sport to engage in and do one
additional physical activity each weekend
- Journal nightly documenting progress.
- Execute faithfully on steps 1-5 for 25
consecutive weeks.
After 25 weeks, review the success of my
execution and create a maintenance plan so that my commitment continues to
deepen moving forward.
